This update is fantastic! I have so many lists and am loving it. I have three things that I hope are in the next update. - half stars! (Pleeeease!) - be able to share the lists with people who have the app - be able to place the movies in your own order. (I want a movie at number 1 but as soon as I add other movies, they are all in random order)

What makes this app so wonderful is that it makes it very easy to populate your lists quickly. For example, I start by searching for "Bruce Willis". I tap "Movies" and I get a list of all his films. I can then add each of them to my "Watch" or "To Watch" list simply by swiping. This lets you add many movies quickly. The real genius is here: I can tap on any of these movies and see the cast. So I tap "Die Hard" and see "Alan Rickman". I tap his name and now I have all of HIS movies in a swipeable list. This UI is well-thought-out and makes it very easy to populate these lists quickly. Ive spent maybe 40 minutes and have 700 films already in the list. No tedious data entry, gorgeous UI. An absolute steal for free, and more than worth the money at $2.99 to remove ads and unlock unlimited lists. You can also export your lists to csv and send them to yourself in email. If youre a movie person, you need this app.

Useful and easy to use app. Prompt response from the support team. Ive stopped using all the other apps as this one fulfills all my movie needs

It wont even let me watch the movies, it just gives me previews.. Anyone know how to get the movies!? What kind of movie app doesnt let you watch actual movies..come on guys I just wanna watch movies!!

Doesnt support iCloud Sync. Restored my iPhone and lost all of my movies.

You cant watch movies. Might as well just go to the App Store to buy movies.

I have one question how do you watch the movies it a really good app I give it 4 stars

UPDATE: love the new top lists and curated lists feature, already found some great movies to watch :) Have used for years, solid development brings great updates such as groups, which Ive wanted forever, biggest improvement -for me at least, would be shared lists that sync with other people (or at least myself, preferably via iCloud that I could back movies up with

Every time I press + to add to a list, it crashed. Ex. 30 Netflix action movie list, Robocop, + and then it crashes. Had to delete all data and download again to fix.

Developer forgot to mention in the latest update notes that ugly, data-sucking, battery-draining Banner Ads are now covering up part of the movie posters. If you want to make money for new versions, delete the old one from the App Store. Dont degrade the user experience to try and force an in-app purchase.

Keeping a log of movies I want to see has long been a thing Ive tried to do. I frequently have friends, family, and coworkers saying "you HAVE to watch [insert title]". Unfortunately, while ToDo movies doesnt actually let me WATCH the movies for free (thats piracy, kids), it does exactly what its supposed to. It helps me keep a log of movies I want to see of that were recommended to me. This saves me some time when I sit down on a Friday evening with my wife and a nice whiskey, and we pop open Netflix. Let me reiterate - ToDo Movies is a TO DO (to watch) app for movies. Think of movies as chores, and ToDo Movies as your checklist of chores to get done. No movies? ¯_(ツ)_/¯

The newest version has ads which took away this apps sort of unique experience. Not a fan.

Todo movies is a really nice way to browse upcoming movies and be reminded of their release. Its also a good way to view trailers, other info and reviews. The app makes use of gestures which can take some experimenting to discover. One thing that would make the app more useful is a section on where to stream movies that are no longer in theaters. Kind of a bummer that you cant find that info within the app. The ads also diminish the experience somewhat, but I know the developers have to eat.

Thank you, but no thanks. I have appreciated this app in the past, but at the cost of removal, its time to end this.

What the update notes do not mention is the addition of ads. Its understandable but if you dont mention it then your reviews will. The main reason Im upset is because the ads are just lazily placed over much of the poster art and make things hard to see. There is still no chronological sorting with a year-listed scroll bar similar to the alphabetical sorting. Very annoying on long lists! Quick links to imdb or other database movie pages would be a nice feature.

People needs to make a living. If you want something free is going to come with ads. If you want the add free version then upgrade! STOP complaining.

This is a great app for keeping track of movies, but it kind of exists in isolation. It syncs with nothing (so there’s no backup of your list, and no way to view it on the web), and there isn’t a way to share or collaborate on a list. Again, great app, but seems a bit isolated for 2016.
